What we collect: your email address, the date you consented and how, your plan, and basic email engagement (opens and clicks, if enabled). Payment details are handled by Stripe and never stored by us.
Why: to send you the emails you asked for, to bill subscriptions, and to improve the service using aggregated usage data. Legal bases (GDPR/UK GDPR): consent (newsletter) and contract (paid plans).
Unsubscribing: every email identifies AI Price Watch as the sender and includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe requests are processed within 5 business days. We only email people who have opted in.
Processors: an email provider (TBD; no emails are sent yet), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), PostHog (analytics, if enabled). Data may be processed outside your country, including in Australia and the US.
Retention: until you unsubscribe or close your account, plus billing records we must keep by law (generally 5 years in Australia).
